After taking delivery of the new Volvo XC90, Volvo Cars Melbourne wanted to help educate buyers about the reasons why this luxury SUV has been exploding in popularity all year.

The Lane-Keeping System is designed to help alert the driver if the vehicle begins to drift outside the lane lines. The Volvo XC90 is equipped with sensors positioned toward the road that can identify when the vehicle slowly passes the lines due to being tired or distracted and vibrate the steering wheel so corrective action can be taken.

When you activate the Adaptive Cruise Control in the Volvo XC90, you get more than just cruising at the desired speed. The radar technology in this system scans the road ahead for a lead vehicle and will create a buffer zone, easily maintaining that much safer driving distance automatically by either having to accelerate or brake without driver interaction while maintaining that chosen speed.
